Sculpture Lamps in Marble
These sculpted lamps are an exclusive invention by sculptor and designer Fabrizio Savi, the owner of the artisan firm founded in 1994 in San Severino Marche (central Italy). Savi engraves bas-reliefs on the lamp-shades where the light of the lamp enhances the decoration and gives a splendid effect of watermark transparency.
After years of experimentation he succeeded in creating a special white marble dust paste from Italian quarries which is perfect for this special kind of lamp-shades.
The decorative themes are of various inspiration, including the Italian and European artistic tradition: classic Greek and Roman, renaissance and neoclassic styles.
The lamps are made entirely by hand and special artistic and craftman’s skills are required. In addition, to obtain top quality after long hours of handwork, Savi makes an accurate selection, eliminating about 4 lamp-shades out of 10.
