Fabrizio Savi

Biography
Fabrizio Savi’s artistic expression develops along two directions only aparently apart from each other.

The first one is related to the figurative tradition. We are talking obout a production of terra-cotta sculptures which reinterpret classical stylistic features in a free and fancyful way.
The second direction belongs to avant-garde experimentation in Computer Art.

Fabrizio Savi has certainly been a brilliant forerunner in this field, in a time when the experiences related to the computer technology were obscure and unknown to the majority of people.
He was one of the first in Italy to design and realize interactive installations of “non-immersive” virtual reality, and in this field he received many assessments at a high level.
The two artistic experiences have in common Savi’s search for innovation, starting from a background rich in story and tradition.
The following is a cronology of Savi’s activities, including all the fields in which he worked and is still working.
